Hi guys I just found out about the AP181 after reading gamernexus's 200mm comparison article.
Now I am thinking of a ncase m1 style case that can utilize just one AP181 fan instead of 3~5 120mm fans.
So I came up with a shitty sketch in paint 3D (lol)

Pros:
One 200/180mm fan instead of many small fans (120mm, 80mm, etc)
Wide area cooling that covers the entire ITX motherboard
Maybe better cooling performance for cpu top down C-type coolers like noctua C-14(s)
Better GPU cooling since gpu is at the top. cases like ncase m1 has gpu exhaust right up towards other components if you use anything but reference cards.

Cons:
around 14 liters instead of 12

*Also "SDD" should be "SSD" but it won't let me edit for some reason.

Right side:

Left side:

Ideally the PSU will draw air from the left side and exhaust towards the front of the case.

Edit: looks like the most economical way to achieve this is to just get the silverstone SG08 and mod it so the case can sit vertically to eliminate the majority of the footprint.

Used to own Silverstone SG08. A good example of how AP181 cools the entire motherboard :thumb:

And yes I combined it with my NH-L12.

I just looked it up. The SG08 is so close to what I want here and has so much potential.
Imagine if they built the SG08 in vertical form.
