Hello I might try it as a last try since I have no other ideas to try.You mean desoldering with soldering gun, right?If the CPU Fan is broken, the computer still should be able to boot, right?The thing is I measured voltage and resistance with a multimeter (my friend is eletronical engineer) and he said the readings on the contact and diodes have been normal on the PTV. Weird though, that the blue power LED is back on.
