SFF.Network [SFF Network] Sapphire ITX Compact R9-380 Launched

While we all wait with bated breath for the R9 Nano, Sapphire has released an 'ITX form factor' R9-380 graphics card on to the market. With similar performance to the previous generation R9-285 and price of around $205US on NewEgg, it doesn't cost any more than the full fat R9-380 cards that are also currently on the market.

The connectors are single-slot, that's nice. That would open up some interesting possibilities. Mini-DP has been around for some time now, I wish video card manufacturers would use it more often and ditch the second DVI port.

That card was released with the launch of the R9 380 reference cards, didn't think it was newsworthy because it's pretty much the exact same to their R9 285. Single slot I/O is indeed nice, but the R9 285 didn't see much love so I don't think this will change anything.

I'm very thankful that Sapphire does this, though.
