I have a Node 202 with a DeLid 7700k, a AIO liquid H60, and a Zotac 1080TI.

It seems to be the perfect system, except the Antenna is a pain to lug around. Are there any smaller Antennas or loose cable styles that I can somewhat "stick" to the case to form better?

Thanks!

I'm thinking to use those antenna wires in older laptops to clip directly to the m.2 wifi card and run it outside my case actually, so the larger screw mounts gets bypassed

The connector on the laptop class cards are often smaller than those on a desktop Wifi card, so make sure you try to purchase it WITH suitable antennae.

Its worth noting that those antenna wires are not very robust, neither are the u.fl connectors they usually use, their not rated for many insertion cycles at all, are fiddly to connect to & super easy to mangle. The larger screw terminals are almost universally always rp-sma (when dealing w/ consumer wifi) and are substantially more robust & easier to deal w/. One solution thats been used a few times by people on this forum are little zigbee antennas w/ relative success. Just be careful to check weather you need RP-SMA or SMA connectors for your application but ultimately pigtails / adaptors can be had for basically any RF connector to any other RF connector for cheap.

I am wondering if I can install something internally and be done with it. I have a decent amount of internal room left in here assuming it can "float" over the waterblock or something

Oh man, is that guy for real... Pops out the functional part of the antenna just to get it to fit? Then tests his WiFi connection by running an internet speed test, which tests his internet connection speed? Jeez, strikeout.
Well unless you work over NAS or LAN alot, the internet speed test is the only relevant thing to test. That said, if the internet speed is reduced (which should be vastly slower than his WiFi-speed), there has occured some incredible loss in WiFi-speeds.

Its really not, your not taking measurements of anything thats directly affected by the changes your making. Sure if your somehow no longer able to talk to the internet then your doing it very wrong but its not relevant. A better test would be to compare the signal to noise ratio before and after and his average and peak phy rate (speed).

You could but antennas in metal boxes...laptop makers seem to have figured it out but otoh there was antenna gate w/ the iphone way back when as well so YMMV i suppose

Will those work with 5GHz networks?
My antenna theory is a little limited but from what i understand it should work but the signal to noise ratio will be worse...YMMV

EDIT: to fix typos

Phones use mostly ceramics and some special alloys that are transparent in the 800-900/1800-1900MHz range, and 2.4/5GHz. They also have been known to use sections of the outside of the case as an antenna. Laptops place antennas near/behind plastic and ceramic windows like LCDs, using the metal case as the antenna ground.

I know this may be too obvious, but why not use a small external USB "nub" wifi adapter if you don't want to use your antennas? There are "N" adapters that are very unobtrusive.

The antennas in these are lacking for anything but short-range, low-interference setups.
