I have no idea what would be the problem here. Seems fine to me. The lip of the riser bracket is supposed to hold it like this.

Can you elaborate on what made you doubt whether you're doing it right?

Btw, it would be good to rotate the photos before uploading because now everyone needs to look at them sideways...
