Hi guys, I need your help. I want to build a very small computer for video editing. The budget is 600-700 $. The size to carry in a backpack, as small as possible, requires an external video card with several CUDA cores. Those are what I have collected, but I'm not a professional in this field. Advise me where to shove it (case) and if needed what part should I replace. Thanks for all the tips!

Cpu - AMD Ryzen 7 1700
Mother - Asus Prime B350M
RAM - G.Skill Ripiaws V Series 16 Gb, 3200
Graphic - Zotac GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4Gb MINI
SSD - Samsung 960 EVO M.2

For the motherboard, you'll want a Mini-ITX to get as small as possible. The ones with the B350 or B450 chipset should be on your list. As for the case, you could have a look at the NFC-Systems Skyreach 4 Mini for example.

Your English is fine. I asked because you will need a 1050ti which will fit that case, like this one.

and a FlexATX PSU

Be careful selecting the PSU and read the reviews. Some are extremely LOUD. There may be others here you may offer alternative suggestions for other types of power supplies, but i have no experience with those power supplies so i don't feel confident offering advice.

I'm quite curious on the setup he'll go with :)

I'll just give a quick & easy suggestions which are, hopefully, within your budget.

- Silverstone SG13. Not the smallest but you can still carry it in your backpack.
- Logic Supply MC600. A clone of NFC S4. (example build: https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/obey-mc600-ryzen-build.7105/#post-107304). But it can get quite hot. People often mod it so it can hold bigger fans.
- Modivio cases. Again similar layout like NFC S4 (https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/modivio-xcase-customizable-console-style-case.2732)
- CustomMOD cases (like https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/custom_mod-flex-mini.1771/). This guy have quite a few models you can choose. But from what I read waiting time can be quite long.

- Logic Supply MC600. A clone of NFC S4

Off topic but here goes....
FWIW its not a clone of the s4 by any stretch. Calling either of the chassis a clone of the other is diminishing the independent time and effort each vendor put into designing, prototyping and bringing to market their respective products. Also, their aimed, sold and marketed towards vastly different audiences w/ Logic Supply focusing on Industrial partners and NFC focusing on enthusiasts w/ their respective product offerings tailored towards their respective markets. Also, as an aside, the MC600 came out a not insignificant number of years ahead of the current skyreach design.

EDIT: whilst I might be wrong, IIRC, the MC600 also came out ahead of the previous version of the S4.

In between packing (moving house) and entertaining toddler, I tried my best to help OP with whatever quick info I can remember.

At that time, that line, the word "clone" was the only thing crossed my mind to describe the MC600's inner layout and the hardware it supports - especially in comparison with NFC S4 (since OP mentioned it before).

My choice of word -as a non-native English speaker- may cause misinterpretation, and in turn may sound like I'm discrediting someone or delivering false information. However, it's never the intention.

I would recommend getting a more expensive case. It looks better, feel better and of course more durable. especially if you're planning to carry it around. It's probably something you would not regret because it's going to pay off in the long run.
