Looking at a lot of the builds it seems like my setup should work fine but I'm a bit confused about how the actual power supply seems to work under the circumstances. For instance, the Dell 330w brick + HDPlex 400w DC-ATX is added to my configuration below. How do I calculate what sort of limitations on power I have? I can't expect 100% efficiency so what should I expect from the below build in terms of adjustments I can or need to make.

You are limited by the lowest wattage part. The dell brick converts wall ac power to a single dc power. The hdplex distributes and converts this dc power to rails suitable for a pc. So 330W in your case. If you had, for example, a 500W brick then your limit is the hdplex at 400W.

There should be a kit coming out soon to use the Hdplex 400W ac-dc power supply as an extrenal power brick. This will give you more power than the alienware power brick.

Ohhhhh I really like the dimensions on that card. Can you reply back and give your experiences with the card after using it for a while?

Hello Josh,

I just ordered yesterday a 3D Bezel (S4M) Dark Smoke Acrylic and i am not sure exactly which one it is.

Just to confirm I assume it’s a see through dark color material and another thing I also need to confirm if it has the cut outs for the GPU

Finally I would like to know how long would it it take to be sent out for shipping

Regards,

AOQ

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but does anyone have info on whether or not you can run and fit the new RTX 2070 mini cars from MSI and Gigabyte respectively in the original S4 Mini and with a HDPLEX 330?

I am looking to upgrade from my 1070 Aero. But i want to make sure i can fit the card and avoid having to do to many component swaps.
