I recently did some mods on my A2000 and someone asked me if I could share the drawings for the community, so here we go...
1) Aluminum Backplate
the cooling effect of this mod is rather small, but it looks nice and protects the components on the back of the PCB... I'd recommend to use >=0.5mm thermal pads and >=1mm washers between the backplate and PCB to prevent shorting anything...
depending on the clearance behind your card, you can use 1.50 or 1.00mm aluminum
2) Memory Shims
I know, you can already buy some ready made copper shims, but that would have cost me 30+ bucks incl. shipping... plus, the thickness wouldn't match with the DIY heatsink I made for the A2000...
Feel free to use the drawings (attached) for your own personal project and get a quote from a local metal shop...

- if you use this shim with a DIY heatsink like the one from robbee, I would recommend 1.5mm aluminum (or copper) plus 0.5mm thermal pad on the memory modules
- if you have the original NVIDIA heatsink, I'd use 1.00mm material plus 0.5mm thermal pad
