Optimum Tech checked a number of ITX cases for compatibility with the reference 6800XT.

Fits:
Cooler Master NR200
Streacom DA2
NZXT H1
NCASE M1
FormD T1 (In 3 slot mode)
Century 2.0

Does not Fit:
FormD T1 (In 2 slot mode)
Loque Ghost S1
Dan A4-SFX

I'm going to be air cooling my T1 when it arrives with expansion bay in 2 slot mode - I'm honestly thinking I'll make an attempt to buy the XT anyway, & leave the side panel off until I can purchase an after market card that fits. Not like it's going to lose its value anyway!

I'm interested to see what we get at 175mm or under. Probably a 6800 is asking a bit too much, but possibly a 3060Ti or 6700XT might work based on probable TDP?

It would be really nice to see some proper mini ITX GPUs at SOME point this generation. It seems like in chasing the performance crown, both manufacturers have basically abandoned the sub-200W market.

The AMD 6800 consumes around 220W in games, with undervolting you can get it below 200W. You can't shrink it, though.
AMD won't abandon the high volume 300$ market, but it makes sense to bring out expensive high margin products first. And those have been out for all of two days.
Zotac has a 3070 with a short PCB maybe 190mm?, with the cooler it is 232mm long. A 3060ti on the same PCB with lower power and a smaller cooler seems like a good candidate for a high performance ITX card.

Shortest new GPU I've been able to find is the EVGA 3060 Ti at 201.8mm. There's hope with the 3060 (with or without Ti) and whatever AMD slots against it.

Same. Would like to verify fan diameter as hopefully 92mm, but it would seem tight given the 201.8mm total length and the extra bit on the sides.
