I placed my NH-D15 in a Cerberus X today just to see exactly how much additional clearance it needs to use the D15 in a Cerberus. It looks like it would only need less than another 10mm in order to completely clear the D15 and the stock fan of the D15. This led me into thinking maybe I can buy a spare side panel and cut it up to allow the D15 to sit. But then I remember my terrible modding skills, or lack, thereof.

I wonder if Sliger can and would be interested in manufacturing a raised side panel so that 16X mm premium air coolers become compatible with the Cerberus(X)

We get asked about this all the time, you will want to look into "male to female 6-32 threaded hex standoffs".

Will need to unthread the ballstuds from the panels, install the spacers, then thread the ballstud back onto the spacer.

So long as you are not going > 1" long spacers, the panel will not look too bad.
