Hey so who is excited about the new Radeons!? I'm really looking forward to going full team red on Dan's A4SFXv1 case, the TDP drop from the 7nm cards will definitely be an improvement from my power-hungry 1080ti (that is also kicking the bucket). Plus also going to a Ryzen 5600x ;)

So far I've only been able to find the AMD Reference 6800 as being a 2-slot. Has anyone seen any others from the AIB's? Ideally an XT :D

TDP drop? The 6800 is 250W I think, the 6800XT and 6900XT are 300W these two I'm sure they are 300W. But there is no TDP drop, this whole generation is all about massive TDP hikes.

Well shucks.. maybe just Ryzen then is what drops TDP) The 1080Ti I have is dying so want to go to the best this generation has that fits a A4SFX

New Ryzen also has same TDP, one of the biggest points about it is more performance at same TDP.
TDP is not the problem with getting the card inside the A4, it's the physical dimensions. Check the compatibility threads for each card. Although someone managed to fit an EVGA 3080,check the main A4 thread.

I have my eyes on RX 6800 XL, I suppose it will be a watered down 6800 with lower power requirements and hopefully cheaper and easier to get as it won't be favored by the crypto mining community.

Yes, what I noticed is a lot of the partner model (AIB) cards for the 6800 are pretty much the reference card with no changes.

@dondan
I asked about it here^ but it was left without reply and I actually believe it deserves some clarification on your primary website (https://www.dan-cases.com/dana4_spec.html)

could you kindly clarify what does this mean?

Graphics Card

Width

Without backplate: 40 mm

Including backplate: 45 mm

Does it mean that if you remove the backplate the maximum recommended width is 40mm so it won't touch the case and cause short circuit while if the backplate is left there up to 45mm can be considered?

Thank you in advance.
