Nvidia 4080/ 4090

Forget about the cooler for a moment.
How are you going to fit that power connector in the case? It adds a huge amount of height to the card. There's only two 180 adapters that I'm aware of so far. One from derbaurer that is huge and another from cablemod that is more modest but still adds a significant amount of height.
Until a 180 degree adapter comes along that is slim enough, or they install it at an angle like they did with the 3080/90 FE, I'm pretty sure we just aren't fitting any 4000 series gpus in an M1.

i dont think its going to fit without serious mods. water block is a must. power replacing the power header with a straight header of correct current rating (that is important) and you need clearance in the water block. power requirements will likely be your biggest issue. i somehow doubt an sfx supply will cut the mustard either.
