I happened to snatch an openboxed plat version from Amazon for just $67 so I've been messing around with it.

You can use an eps 12 -> 2x pcie 6+2, I'm able to power my gtx 1080 ti mini no problem.

Even worked out a fan mod to get rid of that obnoxious loud fan testing during boot/wake from sleep.
