Heyya

I am looking to throw a 1060 in my machine that has the older HDPlex 250W and a DELL PA-9E power brick. When I type in my specs into the site here I get:

Load Wattage:244 W
Recommended UPS rating:500 VA
Recommended PSU Wattage:294 W

Amperage (combined)
+3.3V +5V +12V
5.1 A 7.1 A 20.1 A
53 W 241 W

I know @ilovelampshade and Josh | NFC have had luck pushing these units...but how much? Would I be safe with the hardware I currently have or should I upgrade the HDPlex and brick?

//Also, I feel like this question gets asked quite often. Would be neat to have a sticky on this.

Dan pushed his unit to > 400W with some air cooling over its surface in his preliminary version of the A4. 250-300W should be fine, especially if you get the newest version which is sctually rates for 300W passive. The biggest issue is finding a good and reliable AC DC supply to go with.
