As you can see there is a theme to the above boards (PCIe x 1 and PCIe x 16) :/

If you spot anything else on the market, post it! Make sure it's currently on the market though. (post it with a retailer link). It seems the AM3+ M-DTX board I bought recently has gone EOL -_-

I wouldn't count the last one (ASRock FM2A58M-VG3+), that already takes up three slots and uses mATX mounting holes. Looks like it's a bit too deep as well.
It surprises me that these boards have such lackluster I/O. 4 USB ports are pretty limiting.

I think having the layout like this is actually totally fine (if you don't need 16x/16x that is), because it allows you to use both slots, even with a dual-slot GPU. The M1, C2 and quite a few other mITX tower cases would fit boards like that with no problems at all.
It would actually be quite interesting to see someone use a board like this in an M1, the ASrock H81M-DG4 looks quite decent.
