I'm looking for a monitor with a total thickness of 1&1/2 inches or less. I'm flexable as far as the total screen size (optimally 27 inches but anything between 32 and 21.5 is fine). 'Gamer' centric features would be awesome to have (since I will be exclusively gaming on this), but not an absolute requirement. I need this for a SFF project I'm working on and have had some issues with thickness

I've been looking at these lately as I'd like to get a monitor, keyboard, mouse and monitor into a pelican case for travel. This monitor is among the best I've found:

http://www.samsung.com/ca/consumer/it/monitor/led-monitor/LS22F352FHNXZA

This is a 22" Freesync Monitor that is 1cm at the top of the bezel and likely no more than 2cm towards the base (it is slightly wedge shaped). It weighs a measly 2.2kg (< 5lbs)

24" inch monitor with similar specs (4ms response time), same freesync and weighing in around 6.5lbs

There is also a 27" version that weighs closer to nine pounds, also Freesync,

Nice! Just the kind of thing I was looking for. Oh, I figured out why the ms went up. The panel type went from TN to PLS (that being a type of IPS if I remember properly).

I'm looking to do a similar concept, but it's an 'easily portable' desk. The monitor would fold downwards into the desk. The monitor would have telescoping height adjustment. Similar setup for the legs.

Any questions, thoughts, or critiques are welcome of course.

Those screens are lovely! It looks like they all have VESA mounting holes on the back, but there's nothing about those in the product page. Seems to be 75x75 though.

That's just Samsung's bad web design. Click Tech Specs, then you need to click "Show More Specs" sandwiched beneath the spec section and the next section. All three list "Wall Mount 75 x 75 mm", so should be VESA75 compatible.
