Hey guys,

First post, so apologies if my category/formatting are wrong.
I've been looking to build an ultra-small rig and have a parts list thrown together,
the motherboard of which can take two M.2 SSDs; one standard 2280 form factor
and a 2260. Problem is, I can't find any 2260 size SSDs that aren't knockoffs.

So; are any of you aware of any tangibly sized (i.e., over 256GB) M.2 SSDs with
the 2260 form factor that aren't off-brands from Alixpress? Those are all well and good,
but if it's running as a boot drive I'd rather have something from a big brand if they produce anything
like it.

Thank you!

I found a 256GB SanDisk but the only place I can find them for sale is ebay. The only ones listed on Newegg are Transcend, capacities up to 512GB but they are expensive.

Thank you!

Am I right to be wary about vendors like Goldenfir in terms of quality of product? A near 1TB 2260 SSD for 118 USD seems too good to be true...

They also have a 960GB 2260 for $119. You are taking a chance but seeing price and availability it may be worth the risk.

The lower GB models have pretty slow read/write speeds but the 960GB and 1TB are as good as any SATA III SSD.
