But of course staying with the SFF sentiment I'd like it to fit in the smallest case possible. Are there any cases out there that fit the following criteria:

Fits a ATX board
Under 30L in capacity
Standard vertical board layout
~18 cm wide or less (basically a Silverstone TJ08 is already too wide)

Power supply size doesn't matter, it can be either for ATX or just SFX sized only. I also prefer a mostly metal case.

Max GPU length could be less than 300mm. I'm not planning on using any extra-tall or extra-long cards.

Jonsbo RM2 http://www.jonsbo.com/en/products_31_1.html

21.5 liters. 290mm full height PCI clearance

Has inverted vertical layout and is 209mm wide unfortunately, but its about as small as you can go. If you do a scratch build I think you could do a similar design but move the power supply to get it even thinner.

Here is a budget case called X10 BELLUM by a Korean company Daotech:
http://www.daotech.co.kr/inc/product.asp?idx=284
http://www.daotech.co.kr/inc/product.asp?idx=287
165(W) x 350(H) x 375(D)mm, 21.66L
This was distributed and sold in my country by Scythe back in 2014 but EOL now.
http://www.scythe.co.jp/case/x10-bellum.html
According to Scythe the dimensions including all protrusions are 170(W) × 350(H) × 396(D)mm, 23.56L
The familiar M1/CERBERUS layout for where the PSU is installed.
I don't know the worldwide availability of Daotech cases or if the chassis itself is OEMed from China and is sold with different front panel designs by different companies.

There was an aluminum case called SELFISH M1 which was manufactured by Abee and was just sold in my country back in 2013
http://ascii.jp/elem/000/000/784/784983/
186(W) x 392(H) x 274(D)mm, 19.98L so it's oversized in width and designed with a pretty horrible airflow/cooling options, just like Jonsbo RMx.

Okay, now I'm seeing more interesting options here. Guess I should have also mentioned I'd like to water cool in it too. (oops that's probably gonna matter a lot is it XD)

I'm willing to pay a bit more to import a lesser known Asian brand, as I plan forward with my next job. Plus I can also then say my case is not just the another of the common compact towers most people get. But yea, being EOL makes them harder to find.

The Jonsbo RM2 looks really great as well. I don't mind modding it to flip the layout around. This looks like one of the better options at the moment.

I think a Jonsbo/Cooltek C3 extended 3 slots more for ATX would be close to the perfect case for me.

I really wish Jonsbo would modify some of their designs! I think they build them *almost* perfect and then skimp out at the end on cooling and hard drive placements! The RM2 has a lot of potential I think, but the front of the case is totally unused (could have some intakes, or hard drive mounts!)

If I'm going for a case I'll probably just get the C3 and mod the hell out of it. It may be unrecognizable after it's done, though :)
