There are no current plans to do an Aluminium version.

Is it the surface finish of the Acrylic you don't like?

I wouldn't say the Acrylic is flimsy, especially the 5mm panels, obviously its not as tough as a metal case, but its pretty solid once built up.

I don't think the price will be that high, you might be seeing the price that includes 20% EU VAT.
