Thank you for the feedback, it looks like all round matte panels are preferred over the polished but transparent side panels.
Does anyone prefer the transparent side/rear panels?
The target is March, but I can't be sure yet, I still have some decisions to make such as what options will be available to pick when you order, panel colours and surface finishes, etc.
Having so many options to choose from with the First Edition made it pretty difficult to manage the inventory and some parts were hard to source in volume. But at the same time I know that customisation was one of the main draws of the case for allot of people.
Another downside to customisation is that I now have left over stock of certain parts/panel designs which were not as popular, so that's wasted money for me. The problem is that I had to order the parts upfront before you guys configured your cases, so it was a game of prediction as to which panels would be more popular. I got it wrong on the GPU panel as the open panel (with a dust filter) was more popular than the slotted GPU panel, but I ordered 20 slotted panels and only 10 open panels.
I would like to simplify things, but the difficulty is deciding on how to do that.
Custom panels are possible yes, but they will carry a significant price premium and extra lead time, they are also only available in polished panels.
Just a thought, why would you want a non-ventilated side panel? This will significantly increase temperatures.
Thanks for pointing that out, not sure what happened but the configurator website plugin had disabled itself. it should be back up and working now (BLACK and WHITE).
