I think if you manage to bootstrap a larger production run of 100 cases and then stock them, you could increase your margin quite a bit. The problem is of course investing in such a large run. Have you thought about collecting pre-orders for the second version now? That way you could manage to accumulate orders until the first batch is out and then immediately start the second one.
