I did not check cpu load, but I did notice that there was an update for Windows 10 pending. Once temps started rising it took all my attention, it hit 80C relatively quickly & I panicked. I have HWiNFO64 & in my tray can see temps & CPU usage, but I didn't focus on cpu usage. I'll have to fire it back up & see what it says. Thanks for your response. I usually have a flair for the obvious, but not this time, brain fart!
