Idea: iMac 21.5 motherboard DIY as SFF computer.

I think the MB of 4k 21.5 iMac 2017 is really good. You can replace the CPU and RAM. And it has Thunderbolt 3.

And unlike the 27 iMac, the MB of 21.5 iMac is almost rectangle, so it's easier to make computer case.

That will be a good solution for anybody who needs larger RAM Mac but don't want to buy iMac 27.

And, it should be much more stable than Hackintosh.

I'd be interesting for sure. The power supplies the iMac computers use are often quite compact too.

Looks neat, but lacks normal video output... I've thought about building around many AIO motherboards, but came to the conclusion that a lack of convenient video output makes for a tough build.
