I currently have a Ncase M1 V4. I will be upgrading my rig soon and wish to get a custom glass panel to show of the internals. I have already asked around for the price of a clear tempered glass and the price is surprisingly cheap. However, I have some questions regarding attaching it.
1. How would you recommend me to black out the boarder of the glass so that I can see the frame of the case? Spray paint? Vinyl? However, I would imagine the underside of vinyl wouldnt look too good.
2. As the glass panel is already quite thick, 5mm. I am trying to find the slimmest possible way for me to find a detachable mount. 3M command tape seems alright tho thicker than just using 3M mounting tape (non detachable).
I have seen online where people 3D print mounts of the glass panel but 3d printing services in my country are extremely expensive. which is why I'd avoid it if possible.
