I'm looking at either modding, or making a 1 off, SFF case just for myself, and i'm looking at how much GPU height clearance do i actually need? I'm lookin at providing enough length for the Zotac GPU's, so around 211-215mm. Out of all the cards in the last 2 generations that meet that length requirement, i can't find any GPU's that have a height over 127mm (the MSI Aero ITX cards). I get you need a little extra to plug in a pci-e power connector, but like on the MSI card mentioned, typically the ones that are higher than standard have their power plugs recessed back from the edge a bit to accommodate this fact. I mean i could always get some low profile power connectors if need be since this would just be for me. So is 127mm enough height clearance you think?
