Only stumbled onto this site a few days ago by accident and was blown away! Had to sign up.

Having recently caught the SFF bug myself, I'm about to start a new SFF build to replace my current ROG ATX machine.

It's a great little community you all have here, and I can't wait to share and pick the brains of all those interested.

I ordered an M1 last night, so I should see that by early March I think.

Until then, I hope to have my components chosen. I did have a VIII Impact on order with a 6700K, but cancelled it when I seen the new Kaby Lake stuff coming out last night. If I have to wait for my case for a few months, may as well get the current hardware to fill it.

Hi and welcome ! Fellow Ncase M1 owner here, still very happy. We were talking in another thread how the Asus Impact IX not happen, since Asus has skipped non-ATX platforms in the past before for certain models. But by then you should have a good idea what's available. The just-announced Asus Strix Z270i Gaming is looking like an excellent replacement either way !

I did see that new Strix board. That was the main reason I decided to cancel my Impact VIII order.

I have a little while to make up my mind in case an Impact IX is announced. Knowing my luck, that will happen a week after I get something else.

Until then it's a 4770k, VI Hero and a 980Ti Matrix. Which still plays everything I want it to. It's just so..... big.

I'm excited the new boards have onboard USB 3.1, I am looking at converting the M1 case front panel from USB3.0 to 3.1.
