A little intro:

retired, 30 years IBM, from system operator to programmer, to Sr systems designer. I was part of the Boca PC effort from the beginning. Responsible for systems integration, warehousing, manufacturing, QA, & shipping, and interfaces to ledger and engineering. At one time I was programming in Assembler, Fortran, COBOL, PL/s, PL/I basic, APL.

Spent 8yrs in the army, active and FLNG, broke back on a jump, med-retire

My current system is a 9YO home built I5-2500K, running around 3.6GHz, plus an iPad for travel

Just ordered a Lenovo M90Q, I7-10700

Here to learn and pick brains about my new toy.
