Just found this place from someone mentioning it over on the [H]ard|Forums. Stopped by and wow... front page is full of (new) stuff i love, it's definately looking like my new favorite hangout for information

Currently own a Ncase M1/Noctua C14 cooled Asrock x99E-itx

previous systems:
_a.n.other random silverstone square sff case
_mac pro 5,1 (not very SFF)
_mac mini & PC Labs QMicra V2 for gaming
_some lian li SFF case i butchered and destroyed trying to mount a vertical 240 rad at the front.
_Coolermaster ATC-S4000 SX-1 (not very SFF) - had two 360 rads in that thing
_Vapochill if you remember those
_Then some of the old classic Coolermaster ATC cases. One's i wish i'd kept

What method did you use to mount the Noctua to that board?

Brute force!

I also had a noctua i9 lying around & I used the mounting plates off that. it was a horrible job, probably took over an hour as it doesn't fit easily. Required more strength than should be used when building a computer to get the screws lined up as the pipes got in the way not something I want to repeat any time soon if i'm honest, but it did mount, and correctly.

I have to admit i didn't know it was going to be so tight when i started. if i had not of had long handled allen keys to fit down through the heatsink fins I don't think it would of been possible at all.
