Johan,

Indeed welcome!

Would you care to elaborate on your official responsibility/area(s) of expertise at Corsair? It would likely help save embarrassment (on both sides of the conversation).

Thank you Jeff. Well my title is "Technical Marketing Specialist". So what I do is hang around on forums and talk to and help people as well as create different technical content such as articles for our website, I am a long time modder so I love to do different builds and write about that. I hope this answers your question. :)

Welcome Johan!

Thank you Craig! :)

Welcome ! The timing is perfect after the seemingly release of the SF600 PSU, I'd like to hear more about how that PSU come to realisation and maybe some future product directions as well (more focus on SFX as default PSU support for instance).

Thank you! Well I love this forum and I have talked with @confusis since a few years back so I have been at this forum for a while, just felt natural to make a Corsair account here to support anyone who got questions. :)

Yes we are very proud over the SF-series, I have been very passionate about SFF for a long time and I really like the SF600. There were two reasons why we made the SF-series, first because of Bulldog and second because it is a market we want to get into. :)

Best regards,
Corsair Johan

Even more late, welcome aboard ! I'm considering buying an SF450 to replace my 8 years old Corsair HX520W. This goes in a process of shrinking the rig gradually

The HX520 is still going strong and never failed to me. It'll go back into its original rig, power by a Q6600, to make an home server.

How about hitting the AR240 with the shrink ray and giving us the AR140!? Not to be confused with the AF140 case fans of course. Honestly name it however you like guys. ITX only with SFX support only in the same styling and layout just even smaller. Could be good!

I have been extremely pleased with my Corsair products for years. SF450? Best sfx psu for the money out right now I believe. My only issue was the short 24pin mobo connecter but easily remedied with an extension. Performance has been stellar.

Do you have any news for us @Corsair Johan ? Cases for those nice SFX PSUs perhaps ?

No new SFF-cases planned no. :)

Glad to hear you enjoy your SF-power supply, so do I! :)

We are not planning any new SFF-cases right now though.

Welcome Johan, sorry I am late to party but better late than never.

I too am curious if Corsair has any plans to push SFX into their cases (excluding ATX altogether) or making an SFX case lineup.

As processors and graphics cards continue to consume less and less power, it would be nice to see ATX-sized PSU's go the way of the dinosaur in favor of offering smaller cases. I imagine that it would also help to increase sales for the more-expensive SFX PSUs that are widely ignored in more traditional builds.

Is there anything to be on the lookout for at CES?
