Hardware Canucks has taken a deep dive into the Phanteks Shift XT. The review sings praise to the design of the case but points out the limitations of cooling. This is a common issue with sandwich style cases in that they benefit greatly from negative pressure cooling setups. Adding two T-30 fans as exhaust, in combination with the Noctua L-12S, the Canadian case connoisseurs managed to bring the CPU temps into the 75C range, and the low 70s with a 240mm AIO.
