News Gigabyte 1080 TI Mini ITX model number spotted on Aorus Destiny 2 bundle page

I was curious if my card is valid to redeem destiny 2 bundle from gigabyte and I spotted a model number that looks like 1080TI Mini ITX from Gigabyte, GV-N108TIX-11GD (This model number is highlighted with blue in drop down list in the screenshot, 1080 ITX is selected to show that it's also on this list higher between 1080's)

Yes, I know there's already 1080 TI 'Mini' from Zotac, but it's not ITX-sized, its ~210mm long!

Google won't find anything for this model number, while every other card model number leads at least to the gigabyte's page, so I assume it's unannounced yet. I also didn't find anything about 1080 TI mini from gigabyte either.

It looks like 1080TI Mini ITX to me because:

1) Gigabyte 1080 TI models are marked with 108T and 11GD marks the 11GB model like the base 1080TI:

GV-N108TAORUS-11GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N108TAORUS-11GD#kf

GV-N108TGAMING-11GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N108TGAMING-11GD#kf
GV-N108TTURBO-11GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N108TTURBO-11GD#kf

2) Gigabyte Mini ITX models are marked with IX:

GV-N1060IX-3GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060IX-3GD-rev-10#kf

GV-N1060IXOC-3GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060IXOC-3GD#kf
GV-N1060IX-6GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060IX-6GD-rev-10#kf
GV-N1060IXOC-6GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060IXOC-6GD#kf
GV-N1070IX-8GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1070IX-8GD-rev-10#kf
GV-N1070IXOC-8GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1070IXOC-8GD#kf
GV-N1080IX-8GD https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1080IX-8GD#kf

3) Gigabyte 1080 Mini ITX (GV-N1080IX-8GD) is also on that list, just higher between 1080's so it doesn't seem like a typo.

Be real nice if it comes to market. I’m assuming that we will get refreshes this spring and wonder if they will bother with releasing it.

But I am trying to imagine what a one fan, short PCB 1080ti will be like, considering how hot the Zotac 1080ti mini is.

That's the question here since zotac 1080 Mini has ITX-sized PCB with radiator standing out while 1080TI mini has PCB along the whole radiator. I wonder if gigabyte actually figured out how to fit all the components on the same size as 1080 Mini ITX.

I do believe this is a real product number, it's too specific to be a typo, but that doesn't mean it's getting released, it might be just sitting there on the internal product list while the actual project to 'minify' 1080TI could've been dropped, for example because of thermals or pcb size limitation.

Maybe a water cooled card?

I doubt they'd mark the card like this if it was going to be a water cooled unit. If that were the case, then there would be some additional markings in the model number signifying the water cooling.

Wouldn't be the first time that has happened. Especially with the power draw/ temps it would have. But I'd love to be wrong as the only other option is the Zotac which is nowhere near ITX size.
