Anyone ever rewired their DDC to be powered off 4 pin PWN header?

I have the Asus AIO pump header, I assume it should have more Amp (trying to confirm how many).

Suddenly, I am pretty sure the AIO Pump header has the same voltage/wattage than the other fan headers. Is the W_Pump header in the bigger motherboards that is suitable to plug directly more powerful pumps!

Maybe, using TWO header could work?

Watching this thread eagerly.
Currently running an EK Predator + 240mm EK rad in my ncase m1, but would love to run a thinner side rad for a bit more air through the case and use a pump/block with the DDC 3.2 pump that I have, over the less effective on in the EK Predator.

I was considering the larger Swiftech unit, but they sadly wanted the purchase price again in postage, so it was a hard sell. Something like this that sits a little lower is always a plus.

Have you looked at the EK SPC 60 pump?

Its smaller and quieter than other ddc pumps.

Runs off a motherboard header, uses only 6w where most headers are 12w, doesn't need a heat sink.

Flows .75 gpm through
XSPC Raystorm Pro CPU block, a Swiftech Komodo R9-LE GPU block, a HardwareLabs Black Ice Nemesis GTS 360 radiator, and two sets of Koolance QD3 quick disconnects with 6 Bitspower 1/2" x 3/4" fittings

I'd really like to get one of these.
I also vouch for the EK SPC 60 pump due to the annoying whining noise of the regular Laing DDC. It's pretty simmilar to Laing, the dimmensions might be also very close.

Subbed!!!! I'm interested to do a revision of my built.

I see Swiftech Apogee Drive II and Alphacool Eisbaer LT like a block-pump combo.

Congrats and I cant wait to see your progress.

Regards!!!

Just came across this via a link from the Sidearmd T1 thread, awesome work so far.
@Wahaha360 what's your expected timeline in relation to the T1? Planning to release them around the same time to allow for DDC Pump + 3-Slot GPU combo? Otherwise, seems like an Apogee Drive 2 + 2-Slot/3-Fan GPU is in my immediate future.
What was the decided best option for low pro fittings?
