Yes, I can try to flip the case!

I think your best bet with air cooling is 2x25mm intake fans on the bottom of the case (use it in the originally intended orientation, not the flipped orientation all the watercooling builds use). Have those 2 intake fans on the bottom blowing up and the fin stack on the L12s vertical so it gets some flow from those fans as well as its own. Positive pressure is the way to go because you're actively moving air around the majority of the case. Negative pressure is a risky approach because you're hoping to get lucky and have the passive intake air flow all through the case and not mostly come from the mesh immediately ajacent to the fan while leaving 70% of the case volume with almost no air movement.

I think you're overly concerned about the PSU situation. The SF750 is rated for continuous 100% output at 50C ambient. The exhaust air from the flow through fan will likely get hotter than that running Furmark, but the PSU won't be anywhere near 100% loaded.

For ML or rendering workloads that keep the GPU and CPU 100% loaded for long periods, it's something to think about. For productivity or gaming workloads I don't think it matters.

I am because I have to be. If the psu is sucking hot air it will be operating at very high rpms... and this means noise. Which is a problem because the SF750 is very silent under normal operational conditions.

Also, I have found a review that states that the SF600s maximum operating temperature is 40ºC.
Dumping Amperes heat into the PSU will exceed its maximum operating temperature, as it is rated for 40ºC max for its intake air.
Misinformation.
It has a standard operating temp of max 50 degrees which is different from what it can max take.
Air goes straight through the card so I'm not sure about the temps of the second fan air. Maybe it's really not all to bad.
Nobody knows exactly where the limit is, and with a 3090 there aren't a lot of options besides the route I pointed out and is much more expensive and less beautiful.
Thanks for the concern, but all options are open at this point to make it happen.

Hey do you guys think that the Evga XC3 models will fit in dual slot mode? If so, is there a chance the mesh side panels will cause turbulence with the GPU fans pressed up so close?

I doubt it. Even if it would fit, I would assume the side panels would bow outwards quite a bit, and there would probably be a lot of turbulence.
I think Zotac has some 2 slot cards though if you want a 2 slot card.

Has anyone tested the barrowch radiator? Haven’t seen it mentioned or used.

I have one coming in a few days and wanted to test it against the hardware labs gts and koolance rads.

I will try, but having had the Dan and the Ghost, I already know that the negative pressure is the way to go actually. The SFFs case have always the problem of hot air stucked inside. That’s why the T1 is a Win on Air as well, because allows to have the exhaust fan on top and get forced rid of the hot air! And I think that’s also why my best general air configuration until now is the one with the CPU fan exhausting!
There are also tests on the Ghost made by optimum tech, and always, the negative pressure is the way to go.
Even in Cerberus the negative one (also with radiators or AIO) brings more benefits! ;)

In your opinion, is there a significant difference between a 120mm AIO and the L12? I have to rearrange my case components and getting rid of the AIO might make my life a lot easier, specially if I go the 3080 FE route.

In general the 120 AIO is better than the L12/s for TDP above 110/120W. But of course depends on which CPU are you also using!

That's just about the worst 120mm AIO you could pick lol... Get a 240mm for a 9900k,H100i and EK both fit.
I am thinking about left second 120 slot for fan just blowing heat out or another 120 radiator for GPU. Why NZXT M22 is bad and what 120 AIO's are better?

I'VE ALSO SWAPPED THE S12A WITH A SECOND A12X25.

SO, here the tests so far! The S12A even if is a pure airflow super silent fan, wasn't really helpful on the CPU side.
With a balanced static pressure/airflow fan like the A12x25, the results are quite different!
Note: I keep the S12A in the PSU side, matching the other fan flow when present.

Regarding the L12S Fan, I've tested also the Scythe KazeFlex Slim, and there are NO differences in temp, only the Noctua is more silent.
As well, on the L12S, the fan set as exhaust is quieter than the intake option.

For the rest, here the numbers!

With a static pressure fan like the A12x25, ...
Just to be clear, the A12x25 is not designed specifically to be a static pressure fan. It is an all-around performer that happens to produce better results in most practical applications like use on a radiator.

Noctua does produce static pressure fans and the A series is not one of them, but for radiators the A12 outperforms their static pressure fans.
