Increase volume from 9.8L to 10.5L to support MSI Suprim X 30XX?

  • Yes, worth the trade off to be more compatible with components

  • No, not worth it b/c it is not better than the ROG 30XX, which fits now at <10L

I use performance-pcs.com, modmymods.com and titanrig.com.

The first is the best in my opinion. The other two sell on Amazon and will mark stuff up to cover the Amazon store fees and stuff. Sometimes it's almost double the cost. One fitting was $16+ on Amazon and $7-8 on titanrigs site but you pay shipping.

The alphacool stuff is still hit or miss. The dc-lt ultra pump and eisstation 40 were out of stock so I bought the larger eisstation ultra for the pump and bought the eisstation 80 to see how it handles. Plus, I like the fact that it has a tiny res

I’ve had luck with modmymods for some stuff. The tubing I’d prefer to have is the hardest to source tho. I don’t need a bunch of other stuff, but I’d like to have extra in case I break something.

what tubing are you looking for? I went with the alphacool tpv

I’d like to find this tubing as well as the fittings he is using on the pump block. Main reason for the fittings is since I know they will work since I will be setting my system up the same way. I found some tubing from Masterkleer that is BPA free that was cheap and had some decent reviews. Hopefully using it for 3 months or so won’t cause any problems.

Here are some close up shots. As you can see, I routed the tubes under the psu, 1 to the left of the plugs, 1 to the right, and then squeezed between the psu and front of the case. This way there’s only 2 bends and easy to place and remove.

Tubing I used was: Tygon R3400 - 8MM ID - 11.2MM OD - Black

Okay I worked a bit too hard on this because I'm an idiot and didn't translate the page off the bat. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=nl&u=https://www.highflow.nl/watercooling/slangen/5-16-slangen-8mm-id/tygon-r3400-8mm-id-11.2mm-od-black.html?sl=en&prev=search

What I'm seeing is that the tubing is 8mm ID which is 5/16 inch according to the page. When converted and not rounded it is actually not as accurate and 5/16 is 7.9375 so I'm going to apply the same math to the 11.2 (I originally thought I was looking for 3/8 because I didn't translate the page and I was super confused) which is roughly 7/16. 7/16 converts to 11.1125. So the rounding isn't good but I did find this https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=33934&catid=864 and this https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=33107&catid=864. The first one appears to be what OP used but I'm not 100%

Good finds. The measurements I kept finding didn’t match up when I converted them so I gave up trying to find them here. I think the first link is correct.
