Hey there,
i successfully flashed a Sapphire RX 480 4GB to 8GB as it launched.
Recently i got my hands on a HP RX 480 4GB and wondered if i could do the same trick.

I opened the card and i am a bit confused, there are 8 memory chips form Samsung K4G41325FE-HC25.

edit: Move if wrong sub forum.

edit2: So if found out these are 4Gbit modules. So one is 500 Mb, 8x 500Mb = 4GB therefore i can not flash, thanks.

best regards

It's currently in my Midi tower case, but its for an special ITX build, which i will soon finish and share here ;)
Currently its at 88°C under full load and it thermal throttles a bit.
I will apply liquid metal soon and undervolting is the next step.
