ETA PRIME has taken a look at the ultra tiny R2 NUC micro-PC by iKOOLCORE. While not exactly a powerhouse with its Intel i3-N300 CPU, the CPU does have 8 cores with support for 8 threads at up to 3.8 GHz. It also features a 32EU Intel iGPU on the chip, and supports both Windows and Linux. Size is only 0.3L of volume with dimensions of 7.5 x 7.5 x 5.2cm (2.96 x 2.96 x 2.05”). Price starts at $239 US.
Performance is actually quite good in older titles and emulation for a system that only pulls 20 watts at full gaming load.
The outer casing is all metal, and I get some neat modding vibes to make it a bit steam punk.
