Hi sorry if this has been asked quite a lot,
I would like to start making my own cases, i'm really a newbie in 3D printing, and looking for a first 3D printer at a low cost to start learning and making my first ones
I know that i need to use ABS for the material resistance to heat ( but i heard PETG can do too ? ) and a surface printing of 220x220mm
Do you have some recommendations on a low cost model i could buy from Geekbuying to start ? Speed is not a big factor right now, i'm really looking for something affordable that can do ABS decently , relatively easy to use and a box ( yea, maybe it's too much ^^' )
thx a lot guys

Coming from an 250,- CREALITY ENDER, I'd recommend to spend a little more and get a good mid-range printer instead. Printing anything except PLA with the ENDER was just frustrating and slooooooooow....

I'm now pretty happy with the Qidi +4 printer...

QIDI Plus4 3D Printer – Qidi Tech EU Online Shop

The FLSUN T1 Pro is also nice...

Flsun T1 Pro – eu.store.flsun3d.com

And of course there's BambuLab

As for material, I had very good experience with PCTG

PCTG filament - for the highest industrial requirements - Extrudr - High Quality Filament

I have a very much modified gender 3 v2, and yeah, topping out at about 150mms means printing even a small itx case can take over a day. I’m prepping for a killer conversion though, but it’s still underway.

if you don’t already have a printer, I’d second going with something more modern and larger. Quite a few used ones out there as well you can get for a pretty good discount.
