How low do you think the prices will go, or when do you think we will reach the bottom? I would like to double the capacity in my wife's and parent's machines.

Looking at the 1 year price graphs on pcpartpicker is encouraging!

I don't know how low or what the bottom will be but it'll likely continue for a bit more. 2019 has had several forecasts for drops in DRAM pricing by groups like Trendforce. I read they expected a 15% price drop during Q2 which we have already seen most of that I believe. I haven't been able to find much information on expectations for Q3/Q4.

Frankly I'm quite happy with dram and nand prices as they are now :D SSDs are at a point where I'd finally call them cheap and ram prices are reasonable.

I just bought this set of 2 x 16GB G Skill TrindentZ from Newegg 2 weeks ago because it was on sale for $199, now they have it on sale for $169, bastards. I think right now is a good time to buy.

This turned into more of a "buy it before it's gone" type thread for me, after the news broke of B-Die going EOL.

Picked myself up another kit in preparation of Zen2.

RAM prices are falling , no question. A year ago Samsung announced the 32GB SODIMM module, for a while you couldn't buy one, there was like one seller on eBay who apparently made their own modules from Samsung ICs and it was like 370 bucks a piece. Now you can go on Amazon and buy it for under 200 bucks. Amazon links seems broken, Google B07N124XDS or check https://camelcamelcamel.com/Samsung-2666MHz-Memory-Computers-M471A4G43MB1/product/B07N124XDS this.
