Well I think, I have decided where I wanted to with my first logged build. With the new movie that came out, i think this is perfect theme for it.

First up is an old Shell with some new hardware.
CASE: EVGA Hadron Air
CPU: i7 7700
RAM: 32GB Ram Crucial Balistix
MOBO: Gigabyte B250 MATX
SSD: Crucial 256GB m.2
GPU: GTX 1080 FE

Old hardware into a new Shell with upgrades.
CASE: Dan Case Black
CPU: i7 4790S
RAM: 16GB Ram Crucial Balistix
MOBO: EVGA Z97 Stinger Wifi Core3D
SSD: Half Lengh mSata 256 SSD (Removed Wifi)
GPU: AMD WX 7100
HDD: 1TB Drive next to GPU Removable

Most parts are here, waiting for the dan case to be delivered.

The EVGA Mobo been with me all over the place. Munich, Canada, Houston, New York.
The combo makes no sense but it is a nice board and should still serve me well as my portable Game/Workstation rig with some attitude. The other rig is a bi-product of trying to make an economical gaming station. That kind of went sideways.

Pics coming up soon...
Laser Etching/Cutting
3D Printed Parts
Vinyl Cutter
Dremel
Soldering
...are the available Tools for now

The Parts !!! are complete !!!

GPU Stand Offs to move the GPU out ways to clear up space for a HDD caddy

Trying to cool this thing down somehow

Just Found out that my Motherboard is going to be upside down =(
So some Flipping things have to happen. SouthBridge Logo has been Flipped
I can't Remove the logo on the I/O Port Shield, so i am debating on re-texture via vinyl or 3d Part.

Major's Gun is a Modified Glock 19 from what i can Gather.
Thinking on maybe turning that cover into a partial upper of the Major's Gun.
Pictured with a Upper Glock Slide to get an idea. of the Profile and such.

Seethrough acrylic would be cool for sure!

Also here's a bigger picture of the pistol, in case the one you posted is the biggest you've got:

Gosh finding ways to fit crazy motherboards into this is crazy. You have to hunt every single mm out of it.
I gained 1mm my loosening the vrm/choke heatsinks, and shifting them by 2mm to clear my Cooler.
No worries it is tighten back down but loosening gave me enough wiggle room to make things fit.

So I know all my parts go together and fit, I have to clean up cables and start working on 3D printed parts next.

I LOVE the fins on top/ fan underneath look, I wish there was a good way for me to do it in my S4 or upcoming Customod.
Is that the coolJag Cooler?

Now you mentioned it.
S4 Mini uses 40mm height ?
Scythe Kozuti is 40mm so that would probably work your S4 Build. and since it is fun under the fan is under the fins it shouldnt have the same issues as teh C7

Interesting, I might have to try it just for fun when I've got some available funds.
Might give the kodati a chance too.

Though I have a feeling the l9i will continue to reign supreme. :)

It has the same performance as the l9i i own that one also.
I own C7, Kodati, L9i, Cooltek LP53, and many others LOL.

L9i Best performer out of the box, Ugly as hell.
C7 next best performer out of the box, too loud and in this case setup it is too close to wall, making it run less efficient and loud.
Cooltek LP53 which is the best performer, has to be modded $60 base +$20 slimmer fan, is also the most exp. Fan ontop.
Kodati is in between L9i and C7 in performance in stock form coming in at $20-30 USD,
Drop a new more CFM and quieter Fan on $9.99 it works as good as L9i, looks as good as the C7, Quiet as the LP53 setup.

Stuffing an MAtx into the Hadron Air ITX Case
I will loose the last slot but i am only interested in the GPU slot and M.2 to clear it all.
