I think it's pretty clear that he simply doesn't want to make any more v1 and as far as I can see, hasn't really apologised to his customers for the poor comms (or even believe he's done anything wrong).You're right though, people can draw their own conclusions from that level of customer engagement and decide where they stand with Dan cases accordingly.
