I just looked at what Microcenter has for AM5 mATX boards and...the features are pretty underwhelming, to be honest. Yes, it's a bigger pool, and that often means cheaper, but that's about it. I couldn't find any B650 boards (in-stock, at least) that had 2x or more USB-C, they have more USB-A and more fan headers, but that's about it. 2x M.2 is pretty standard, and you have 4 RAM slots, but that's not really a huge deal for most people. I feel like ITX boards have to cater to people who are building really specific things, so they are feature packed. You might have to choose a different brand to get what you value, but all of the boards seem to offer something the others don't have. mATX is just...like cheap ATX boards, but smaller.
