Cooler Master already uses "Big features. Small size" or so for the NR200p boxes. Not sure, if you want something similar.

Smart. Beautiful. Compact. No compromises.

Small case. Big performance.

Great things come in small packages. Proven.

C4: just dandy

Dantastic

Explosive performance. Minimum size

Redesigned for perfection

any hope of slightly increasing the GPU compatibility for full 3 slot cards in this case? It's so close to the big cards but doesn't fit essential cards like Asus Gaming TUF 3080 which isn't a full 3 slot without reverting to sandwich mode..

what are you on about? 🧐

Traditional Layout
Graphic cards support:
3 Slot GPU up to 315mm length
Motherboard support: Mini-ITX, DTX
Power Supply support: SFX, SFX-L
CPU Heatsink support: Up to 130mm in height.
Case Fans: 2x 80mm fan at the back, or 1x92mm at the back, 2x120mm or 2x140mm at the bottom
Water cooling support: up to 280mm radiator with 140x140x25mm fans

Assuming most people prefer to use it in Classic layout, these are a lot of mdoern cards that won't fit. Just saying, a future revision to include most of these would be nice since this case is designed to fit 3 slot cards (and is so close to it)

I see, never paid much attention to Ampere cards so this never registered.

Anyway just my napkin math here - to accommodate all of these cards in classic layout, the case will probably have to be 10mm longer AND 10mm wider? Personally not really bothered either way, but I figure many will have very strong feeling about expanding the case volume further.

@thelaughingman

yeah a lot of people will be against increasing the size..but 10 mm = 1 cm so 1 cm longer and 1 cm wider is not that big of a deal imo. I can make 1 cm with my fingertips lol. And it will be promising for future compatibility.
A 10mm width increase would also mean one could run the ASUS X570 Crosshair VIII Impact mDTX mobo with a 280 AIO on the side bracket AND still use two 140x25mm fans on said AIO...!!! ;^p

I am good with the current length, as it will fit the Sapphire Nitro+ 6800 XT just fine...!

An increase of 10mm to both the length & the width of the chassis would result in a 1.26L volume increase...

PPL Bounding Box Dimensions: (H x W x D): 257 x 161 x 339mm, 14.03L

Including case feet, not counting PCIe bracket tabs...

Length is optional, as that's only issue for Asus ROG (listed at 318.5, so formally length is not an issue? But Dan knows better) and MSI Gaming series cards. Judging by pictures deshoud will shave at least 5mm of length on both, so if someone really wants those behemoths they have that route.

Most RTX 3000 AIB cards that can't fit is due to maximum supported GPU height at 131mm, while cards are up to 140mm. Most (all?) of them seem to have properly recessed PCI-e power sockets, so only adding 10mm to width of the case seems to help them, no need for length increase.

257 x 161 x 329mm = 12.7L
*insert "wait, it's all ncase m1?" meme*
(actually still better volume-wise, as 12.7L volume of M1 doesn't include nor protrusions nor feet, but that's the volume usually stated for it)

ASUS TUF with arguably best AIB cooler should fit (stock) given such (height only) increase (it's ~130mm without shroud bump, but damn power plugs are not recessed). I didn't want to start that talk, because I was afraid of being eaten by people that were against previous increase for 280mm/3-slot sandwich, lol; so I silently blamed ASUS engineers that they didn't simply recess PCI power plugs on TUF, but since someone started that talk I'll vouch for it.

(I don't expect anything to actually change as Dan just ordered second prototype; I guess we can just hope that with future cards/generations AIB's reduce their appetite for GPU height to 130mm and start to properly recess PCI-e power sockets)
