It's a 2.2 slot GPU which fits fine but will have turbulence so I leave the side panel off unless I'm traveling.I haven't done any number comparisons on temps. I've undervolted to -30 which made it quieter during gaming. You can look up on youtube hardware canuck's video on the black ridge 120mm intake vs 92mm intake. That should give you a good idea of acoustics and temperature differences.
