Discussion cybenetics vs 80+?

been asked to build a pc for a friend and got all the components sorted out except the psu as I only had hdplex for the last 3 year
and have no clue what cybenetics is is it like 80+ or is there something that makes cybenetics superior over 80+

I could be misunderstanding but I think Cybernetics rating is measured across the entire wattage range of a PSU rather than one or two "peak efficiency" points like with 80+.
This makes the getting high ratings more difficult to achieve (which is a good thing) because instead of building a PSU that's only super efficient at one point, it's efficient across the board.
