What about a even smaller Version for like LP 1050ti with external brick? it Would be around 3L. And since the 1050ti is able to handle most 1080p games and there is no alternative yet, I think it could be pretty nice.

the reason its a bad idea to increase its depth significantly, is that design is already on these forums - Dr Zaber's Sentry.

all you need is enough depth for a GTX 1080Ti mini.

Yes you can increase to 220mm. Under the ZOTAC 1080i mini
