Cooling the CM Elite 110

How to solve the cooling issue?

So this Cooler Master Elite 110 is my selection to join the family. With the Wraith Spire cooler of Ryzen 5 1600 and ATX size CX500M PSU, I had hard time with the ventilation. https://photos.app.******/SY7At7cabwxcXuWQ2 https://photos.app.******/QIqZ4OjX89fLdYyQ2 https://photos.app.******/OHDmf5g1lp27VCnA3
Turning the PSU upside down is one option, puts extra heat on the PSU. I also have another 120mm fan to install right next to the Wraith Spire cooler as exhaust.

Your suggestions, please.

i have the same case, and i would strongly recommend getting an aio as there is almost no space for a decent air cooler under the psu. and if it fits it is either starved because of lack of clearancefor the fan. Or you flip the psu and have to dump all the heat of the cpu into the psu.

An SFX PSU might already grant you the much needed extra space or even a HDPLEX 400 or a G-Unique which would be enough to power your system I guess. That together with an AIO as suggested by darksidecookie (awesome name btw) might offer you some benefits in terms of both space and cooling.

Appreciate the replies m8s.
While I'm sooo into that HDPLEX builds, it won't be so quick for me to grab one. Wouldn't a 160W version be sufficient ?
Or point me to a calculator link if there's any, please.

while the hdplex will help with cooling, you have to keep in mind the cost and also i it's necessary. I've been running a normal sized psu a 1070 mini and a 140w tdp xeon (that is used for rendering so max load basicly) in this case for six months now and the only part that really gets hot is the m.2 ssd.

what i'm trying to say is an aio will solve potential thermal throtteling, the hdplex is just icing on the cake (if you are willing to pay extra for potentially even better temps)

m.2 ssd temp is about 63°C. So what happens I got a CM 120 Lite then I switch to an NFC S4 mini?

I might sound like a bit of a dick but with the cost you'd be sinking into the AiO and hdplex, Jonsbo U2 or another slightly better case would solve a lot of headaches.

Nope, sir. I'd rather wait for the NFC s4mini.
In the meantime I'll apply the additional fan and post the new face of the build here.

i you want to move to the s4 mini i'd say: buy the best low profile cooler that will fit in the s4 mini and dump the heat in the psu for now.
I like your style, doc. Two options: Cryorig C7 and Noctua NH-L9a. Both are either way too expensive or unavailable. But thanks for clearing out the water cooling thought for now.

Here is the cube with the additional makeshift fan installed.

It is blowing some warm air off and the blue LED is just neat.

Good idea - I say with some self satisfaction as well, as I used this exact set up practically on my Silverstone SG13B. Installed a nice strong 120mm fan for intake at the front and then, installed (in an approximate manner) a slim Noctua 92mm fan as exhaust where the little CPU intake cutout is next to the CPU cooler. I tried as an intake as well, for maximum positive pressure (keep in mind I just had my PSU drawing in from top and exhausting out back) but temps actually were better when I decided to just get that hot air away from the CPU as quick as possible. The intake at the front did the rest.
