Can I change the page from black to white?

This black page is bogus, can it be changed? Also aggravating to Mr. Wordy here, is the 420 character limit...

I have asked the same question long time ago and the answer was/is 'no'.
I see you are an 'older' folk like me. And I bet you asked this question because your eyes (like mine) suffer more on a white-text-on-black-background.
It is unfortunate but this is life. And I am beginning to spend less time in this website than I would like.

OP would like to change the page background from black to white.
But, the 3 choices (dark red, dark blue and rgb) still have black background with white text.
They do not really help. :-(

I believe there are more themes available for subscribers, though that's not really a solution for the OP.
I'll ping @PlayfulPhoenix as he's the only one able to fix that.

I was just looking through and there are 2 themes available to me that use white backgrounds.

So, the 'better' themes are available/reserved only for paid subscribers.
May I suggest to the site admin that instead of having 3 black background themes available to everyone, change them to 2 blacks and 1 white?
BTW, @rfarmer would you mind posting a screen cap of these 2 white themes? TIA.

Much better than the default black background.
My old eyes just suffer more with this black background.
It is not just this website. Any website with a black background just forces me to spend less time with and even to avoid if possible.

For me it's the opposite, my eyes get hurt quicker with shiny white backgrounds.
But I agree white text on black background is not pleasant either.

It lets you adjust colors to your liking.

Does it work on SFFn though?

Trying it now (on Edge with DarkReader extension) and it changes the page background but not the background of actual posts (or anywhere with text for that matter)...

For what it's worth I'm a bronze supporter and I don't have any other themes.

My SFFN theme is dark blue and yes, the Dark Reader extension is able to change it:

Working on both Firefox and Chromium on Linux, never tried it on Edge.
But no effects on Imgur's comments I just noticed...
