HiThese are the memory specs of the B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI according to Gigabyte:1. 2 x DDR4 DIMM sockets supporting up to 64 GB of system memory2. Dual channel memory architecture3. Support for DDR4 3600(O.C.)/3466(O.C.)/3200(O.C.)/2933/2667/2400/2133 MHz memory modules4. Support for ECC Un-buffered DIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8 memory modules * ECC is only supported with AMD Ryzen™ and Athlon™ of PRO-series CPU.5. Support for non-ECC Un-buffered DIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16 memory modules6. Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modulesAren't the 1 and 5 quite contradictory? How could you reach 64GB with 2 slots supporting max 16GB each?Or do I not understand clearly what 1Rx16 means?
Hi
These are the memory specs of the B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI according to Gigabyte:
1. 2 x DDR4 DIMM sockets supporting up to 64 GB of system memory
2. Dual channel memory architecture
3. Support for DDR4 3600(O.C.)/3466(O.C.)/3200(O.C.)/2933/2667/2400/2133 MHz memory modules
4. Support for ECC Un-buffered DIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8 memory modules
* ECC is only supported with AMD Ryzen™ and Athlon™ of PRO-series CPU.
5. Support for non-ECC Un-buffered DIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16 memory modules
6. Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules
Aren't the 1 and 5 quite contradictory?
How could you reach 64GB with 2 slots supporting max 16GB each?
Or do I not understand clearly what 1Rx16 means?
