With my new 5700G when running Blender Classroom Render along with Unigine Valley, Blender will give a time out error after about 5 minutes. I also tried CPU-Z stress test also with Unigine valley and again got a timeout after 5 minutes. This was with the latest drivers installed. I have made 2 bug reports to AMD. The 5700G took over 1 minute less than the 4750G to complete the Blender Classroom render - the one time it was able to complete the render without a timeout.

What are your temperatures like ? How much RAM to you have ? Any overclocking ? Does those benchmarks succeed when ran alone, instead of trying to murder your system by running multiple benchmarks simultaneously.

I've read about users having that kind of issue and solving it by :
  • Lowering the temperatures
  • Using default XMP settings (no RAM OC)
  • No use the "gamer" profile in Adrenaline

Please see additional posting where I compare dual downdraft fan setups on a Noctua L12 cooler:
and
and my description of the Yiluka YLK 01 case at:

L12 Ghost Edition dual downdraft with an A9x25 fan under the cooler and a Scythe-Kaze-Flex-120-black on top, on an Aorus B550 ITX MB, replacing the 4750G with a 5700G APU build with 32GB Ram in a 5.9 liter Yiluka YLK-01 case with no space for other fans. XMP @3200 on the RAM is enabled. No other overclocking. Both the Ryzen 5 3400G and the Ryzen 7 4750G complete the Blender classroom render and Unigine Valley stress test without issue, both while drawing over 10 watts more power to complete the tasks. Sounds like a driver issue. I know you already re-installed them, but have you had a fresh Windows install after the latest motherboard BIOS? It's all I can think of to try next.

Thank you. I may try it. On lesser loads it is working fine.

I don't know if you did a fresh driver install when you swapped the APU, but you could try DDU to remove them completely and then reinstall them.
I installed new drivers with the 5700G. Will have to see if any new drivers appear.

By fresh install I meant : Did you wipe them completely using DDU or something similar before that ? Uninstalling from Windows or Installer itself is not enough (KEYS are left in registry, config files can be left, etc).

I will give that a try. Thank you.

Installed latest AMD Radeon software 21.8.2. Seemed to have solved the freezing problem. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions & useful information.
