AMD has announced the Radeon RX 7600 XT 16GB at CES 2024. During the announcement, AMD focused on the ability of content creators who may be using editing applications that require more VRAM than past cards offered. The card will retail for $329, and have the same core as the Radeon 7600 albeit with a bump in clock speed and power usage. Power is via twin 8-pin plugs.
From a SFF perspective this is a bit of a miss. The 16GB of memory is good to have, but the high power consumption coupled with the fact there aren’t any readily available SFF sized models gives no real incentive for most sub-8L users to look at this card. There could be some hope for the card in the 10L to 15L space...
